Equipment Owner

The founder of Bushwick Film Festival (Kweighbaye Kotee) reached out to us and asked if we could donate a rental/expendables. We declined the donation. They came back and said the would like a quote as paying customer. We provided a quote and they moved forward with rental account paperwork including submitting a debit card and passport. On their return date they were missing many items from their rental which we billed as missing/L&D. Their debit card was declined at the time of payment. We reached out to them multiple times over the past several weeks and they said they were going to pay the balance. They are now not responding to any emails or phone calls for the past few weeks. I hope this post will warn other vendors/locations to NOT work with the Bushwick Film Festival. It is very sad that a festival supporting film makers hurts a vendor like us who is supporting those same film makers which they are celebrating.
