ESTA Fraud and Theft Prevention Dear RENTAL GUARD User, This is an important update regarding the theft of a Mini LF from CPT reported on April 6.  The names involved in the theft-by-rental are ANTHONY PAGE (Anthony Page Photography) and JERSON SOSA (Freelancer). As part of the claims process, the claims adjuster has subsequently determined that the COIs appear to be altered.  CPT indicated that the COI was received directly from broker RV Nuccio Associates - Joseph Guerrero. It was a yearly certificate. “We called and confirmed the cert was valid - unfortunately, that was a scam - the person on other side was one of them.” The claims adjuster asked us to spread the word that rental companies are encouraged to call the broker directly to determine that COIs are legitimate and unaltered. Confirm the phone number independently - do not rely on the COI info.
