Customer emailed for small camera package to pickup next day for wedding shoot. Provided well-prepared rental paperwork with year-long insurance policy through TCP, photo ID and matching company credit card. TCP verified policy and policy holder had issued Texcam a COI (as well as another rental company) the day prior. A person claiming to be the customer's mother showed up late in the day for pickup in an Uber. Provided another fabricated DL, this one from Pennsylvania, both of which look authentic. Later, customer was unresponsive. Was able to reach out to actual photographer who informed us he had not rented any equipment in Houston and that anyone doing so was with his stolen credentials. Bellaire PD was contacted and police report filed. TCP has been in touch and are looking into the matter.
